Position: Agricultural Engineer – Durian Plantation Management
Location: Dong Phu District, Binh Phuoc Province
Recruitment Quantity: 02
Income from salary: From $1,900 per month (after taxes). Bonuses are applied according to KAI Farm’s policies at different times.
KAI Farm is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Agricultural Engineer to oversee the planning, cultivation, and maintenance of a newly established 50-hectare durian plantation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the sustainable and productive growth of our durian trees, aligning with our commitment to environmentally responsible farming practices.
Key Responsibilities
✾ Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive plans for the planting, care, and management of durian trees.
✾ Growth Monitoring: Oversee the growth and health of the durian trees, employing advanced agricultural techniques to optimize development.
✾ Sustainable Practices: Ensure adherence to sustainable farming practices, minimizing environmental impact while maximizing yield.
✾ Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate and execute cultivation and harvesting schedules effectively.
✾ Innovation and Improvement: Identify and apply innovative agricultural methods and technologies to enhance productivity and quality.
✾ Staff Training and Management: Lead, train, and supervise agricultural staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
✾ Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
✾ Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in durian cultivation or similar fruit crops, with a proven track record of managing large-scale plantations.
✾ Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of modern agricultural practices, pest management, and organic fertilization.
✾ Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management abilities, with experience in training and developing agricultural teams.
✾ Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
