As part of our expansion, we are venturing into the procurement and export of premium-grade cashew nuts. We are now seeking a motivated and skilled Merchandiser to join our team and play a pivotal role in establishing our presence in the cashew industry.

Location: HCMC, VIETNAM.

Recruitment Quantity: 02
Income from salary: From $1,300 per month (after taxes)
Bonuses are applied according to KAI Farm’s policies at different times.

Job Description:
As a Merchandiser for sustainable cashew nuts, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, quality assurance, and export processes. You will work closely with local farmers and suppliers to ensure the highest standards of quality, while adhering to sustainable and ethical practices. This role requires a strong understanding of the cashew market, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-lasting relationships with suppliers and customers alike.

Responsibilities:
– Identify and collaborate with reliable cashew nut suppliers and farmers, ensuring sustainable sourcing practices.
– Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure the best quality products at competitive rates.
– Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to maintain the highest standards of cashew nut quality.
– Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure smooth and efficient export operations.
– Stay updated with industry trends, market demands, and regulations related to cashew nuts.
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with international customers, responding to inquiries, and addressing any concerns promptly.
– Analyze market data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or related fields.
– Proven experience in merchandise, preferably in the cashew or agriculture industry.
– Solid knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices and commitment to environmental responsibility.
– Excellent negotiation and communication skills to engage with suppliers and customers effectively.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team, with keen attention to detail.
– Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
– Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
