As a Customs Declarant at KAI Farm, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth and efficient import and export of our products, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities:
– Prepare and submit accurate and timely customs documentation for import and export activities.
– Classify products according to customs regulations and guidelines.
– Coordinate with relevant authorities to facilitate customs clearance processes.
– Stay updated on changes in customs laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
– Liaise with internal teams to gather necessary information and resolve any customs-related issues.
– Ensure proper record-keeping of all customs-related documentation.
– Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize shipping processes.
– Act as the primary point of contact for customs-related queries and inquiries.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Customs Declarant or in a similar role within the agricultural or import/export industry.
– In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
– Familiarity with agricultural products and their customs classifications is an advantage.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
– Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution.
– Proficiency in relevant customs declaration software and tools.
– A degree in Customs Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
