Income from salary: From $3,600 per month (after taxes). Bonuses are applied according to KAI Farm’s policies at different times.

Responsibilities

▬ Crop-Specific Expertise: Lead research initiatives optimizing cultivation practices for Vietnamese crops (coffee, cashews, durians). Conduct comprehensive assessments of crop health, yield, and quality, implementing innovative solutions for improvement.

 

▬ Sustainable Agriculture Practices: Investigate and implement sustainable farming practices, emphasizing soil health, water conservation, and biodiversity. Integrate agroecological principles into daily operations, seeking a balance between productivity and ecological harmony.

 

▬ Technology Integration: Stay abreast of cutting-edge agricultural technologies, incorporating innovations to enhance efficiency and sustainability. Collaborate with the technology team to explore precision farming, data analytics, and other advancements contributing to ecological objectives.

 

▬ Partnership Development: Forge collaborations with local and international partners, including research institutions, NGOs, and agricultural experts. Represent KAI Farm in conferences, sharing insights and staying connected with the broader agricultural research community.

 

▬ Research Project Management: Design and execute projects addressing challenges in crop cultivation, focusing on yield improvement, disease resistance, and climate resilience. Oversee the research lifecycle, from initiation and data collection to analysis and presentation of findings.

 

▬ Data Analysis and Reporting: Employ advanced analytical techniques to interpret research data, providing actionable insights for farming practice improvement. Prepare detailed reports and presentations contributing to the organization’s knowledge base and guiding future initiatives.

 

▬ Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the KAI Farm team, integrating research outcomes into daily operations. Actively engage in cross-functional collaboration, sharing expertise for the holistic success of sustainable agriculture initiatives.

Qualifications

▬ Educational Background: Possess a Master’s or Ph.D. in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a closely related field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in agricultural sciences.

 

▬ Proven Expertise: Showcase a robust track record of hands-on experience in agricultural research, specifically with Vietnamese crops. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities associated with these crops.

 

▬ Sustainability Focus: Exhibit a strong commitment to sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship. Showcase practical experience implementing and promoting eco-friendly farming practices.

 

▬ Global Agricultural Awareness: Stay informed about global agricultural trends, innovations, and best practices.

 

▬ Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical skills, interpreting complex agricultural data and drawing meaningful conclusions. Experience in applying data analytics to optimize crop yield, quality, and resource utilization is highly desirable.

 

▬ Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, conveying complex research findings clearly and accessibly. Demonstrated proficiency in preparing comprehensive reports and delivering engaging presentations is essential.

 

▬ Collaboration and Teamwork: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and contributing expertise to achieve collective goals. Showcase adaptability and a willingness to engage with diverse perspectives in a dynamic team environment.
